Bybos Africuisine
A family-run African restaurant in Longueuil needed a digital storefront that matched the soul of their kitchen, fast. We delivered web design, an onsite photo and video shoot, online ordering integration, and an SEO-ready foundation in 10 days. The result: 300% more online orders, a 48% drop in bounce rate, and a brand presence as warm online as it is in person.

THE CHALLENGE
Bybos Africuisine built its reputation on family recipes, grilled suya, jollof rice cooked the way it's cooked back home, and the kind of hospitality that turns first-time customers into regulars. In person, the brand felt warm, alive, and unmistakably theirs.
Their old website didn't carry any of that. It looked like a generic restaurant template. Photography was inconsistent. The menu was buried. The Order Online button was easy to miss. On mobile, where most restaurant discovery happens, the experience broke down completely: slow load times, awkward navigation, and no clear path from landing to ordering.
They didn't need a new logo or a louder design. They needed a digital storefront that matched the soul of the restaurant: mobile-first, story-driven, and built so every visitor knew exactly what to do next.
THE NUMBERS, AT LAUNCH
- +300% online orders (post-launch vs pre-launch)
- -48% bounce rate (site-wide average)
- 1.4s average page load (Core Web Vitals: pass)
- 3.1x mobile conversion rate post-launch
A digital storefront as warm as the kitchen.
Online orders tripled: the streamlined order flow plus a constantly visible CTA delivered a 300% lift in online orders within months of launch, the single biggest revenue impact of the project.
Mobile transformed from liability to channel: phone-first design and integrated ordering produced a 3.1x mobile conversion rate compared to the previous site. Mobile is now Bybos's strongest acquisition channel.
UX wins baked in at launch: bounce rate dropped 48%, page load came in at 1.4 seconds, and the site passed Core Web Vitals on its first audit. No ongoing tune-ups required.
Brand reputation, now reflected online: Bybos's 4.8-star Google reviews are front-and-center on every entry page. The in-person hospitality and the digital experience finally tell the same story.
